LATER IS TOO LATE (National Seniors for Climate Action Day)

On Canada's National Seniors Day, October 1st, Seniors for Climate is organizing demos for climate action across Canada, including the city of Kingston.

The rally will take place at Confederation Park in downtown Kingston, across from City Hall from 3 – 5 pm on Oct. 1st, 2024.

Seniors for Climate Goals:

• We’re in a climate emergency. We need to act now! Later Is Too Late!

• We must phase out the use of fossil fuels.

• Climate change is affecting our health: extreme heat, wildfires, floods, storms, droughts.

• Action on climate must be intergenerational. We’re all in this together.

• We need to speed up the transition to renewable power and clean energy.

• Our banks, pension funds and governments are fuelling climate breakdown.
